As a user of the Natural Reserve System, we ask that all research, educational, and public activities be approved via an online application (except for the daily use by individuals or small groups of the Scripps Coastal Reserve). Once your application is approved, please submit a waiver for each user to Isabelle Kay, the reserve manager. Groups should also submit a project information sheet along with their waivers (see below).
Access to the Dawson, Elliott, and Kendall-Frost Reserves are restricted by locked gates. Access to the Elliott Reserve is also restricted by a palm-scanning device. After your application is approved you will receive instructions about how to gain access.
Please submit an application at least one month before your Reserve activity. Doing so will allow enough time to review your application and prepare for your visit.
